GENERAL PROGRAM INFO

This page contains general information about our programs.  Everyone is accepted into our productions. Each season/session is different, but this will give you an overview of our programs.
FALL SESSIONS
K - 2nd Grade
  • Session runs from September to early November.
  • Rehearsals are once a week and meet for one hour.
  • Students work with director and high school assistants to learn songs, dances and dialogue.
  • Students are given scripts, but all show materials can be learned by rote repetition.

3rd - 5th Grade
  • Session runs from September to mid-November.
  • There are two different sections, a Monday cast and a Tuesday cast. The actors perform the same show, but rehearse and perform separately.
  • All actors who register for the show are accepted into the production, and auditions are held on the first day to determine casting.
  • Rehearsals are once a week and meet for one hour.
  • Selected small groups of actors may be called once a week for an additional rehearsal.
  • Students work with director, music director and high school assistants to learn songs, dances and dialogue.

6th - 8th Grade
  • Session runs from September to mid-November.
  • Rehearsals are once a week and meet for two hours, usually 4-6pm.
  • Selected small groups of actors may be called once a week for an additional rehearsal.
  • All actors who register for the show are accepted into the production, and auditions are held on the first day to determine casting.
  • Students work with director, music director, choreographer and high school assistants to learn songs, dances and dialogue.

9th - 12th Grade
  • Session runs from September to mid-November.
  • All actors who register for the show are accepted into the production, and auditions are held on the first day to determine casting.
  • Full Cast rehearsals are once a week for two hours.  Principal actors may be called for additional rehearsals once or twice a week.
  • Students work with director, music director and choreographer to learn songs, dances and dialogue.
WINTER SESSIONS

SUMMER SESSIONS
1st - 4th / 5th - 8th Grade

9th - 12th Grade
  • Auditions are held at the end of May
  • Rehearsals are held while school is still in session for principal actors.
  • Rehearsals are Tu/Wed/Th from 7-9pm during the last week of June and all of July.
  • Performance is typically the first weekend in August.
