Eric Langmeyer, Production Director
Eric Langmeyer, a graduate of Salem State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in directing and a minor in education, has worked in theatre education for 20 years. He started his career teaching in Beverly and Danvers public schools then teaching outside Washington DC, as well as Baltimore and Chicago. He grew up in Ashland, Massachusetts and is thrilled to be a part of Triboro Youth Theatre. Eric enjoys wearing many hats – director, choreographer, costumer, and producer. Eric says, "Theatre is built on collaboration. I start every production with an easy formula, telling the students, 'I give you something small and you make it bigger on your own.' And they do, by working together toward a common goal. Everything we do in theatre is an act of collaboration. In rehearsal, everyone and every idea counts." Special thanks for the High School staff, the young actors who give their heart and soul each day at rehearsals, and to David and Austin for being his partners in crime.
