Artistic Staff

Vivian K. Humphrey (Artistic Director and President)

Mrs. Humphrey has been working professionally in the theater for 29 years. She has a BFA degree in Drama from The Catholic University of America where she also minored in art. She has worked for the Pied Piper Players, the Alexandria Children’s Theatre, Kinney and Company Youth Theatre, Arena Stage, Library Theatre and other performing groups. Vivian taught theater at Paul VI High School and Burgundy Farms Country Day School in Virginia, and at Norton High School and the Montessori Children’s House here in the northeast. She was given the ALEX award by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce for excellence in the performing arts. She co-founded Triboro Youth Theatre in 1996.

David A. Renoni (Associate Artistic Director / Music Director)

David has been working with TYT for the past nine years in many different capacities. He graduated from Anna Maria College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and is currently a music teacher at Westwood High School in Westwood, MA. David has also worked as Director of Music at Coyle & Cassidy High School in Taunton, and as a music arranger for several choral ensembles, show choirs and instrumental groups in the Massachusetts area. David is one of the co-founding staff members of Triboro Musical Theatre.

Chris Fournier (Technical Director)

Chris is a 2007 graduate of Boston College. He has been TYT's technical director since 1999 and his designs have been seen in more than 50 productions. He also works for several theater companies in the Boston area.

Erin Magoon (Choreographer)

Erin is a certified dance instructor in the performing arts and a member of the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston. She is currently on staff as the Assistant Director for On The Barre Dance Studio where she has been instructing for the past 7 years. Erin joined the TYT staff in the fall of 2008.

Laura Norton (Choreographer)

Laura is a student at Wheaton College, currently persuing a degree in English and a minor in dance. She studied at the Spotlight Dane Studio in Taunton for 15 years and with the Radio City Rockettes for two summers. Currently, Laura works as a choreographer in Taunton for the Applause Academy and Friedman Middle School, as well as a director/choreographer at Martin Middle School. Laura joined the TYT staff in the summer of 2008.

Troy Pepicelli (Production Assistant)

Troy is an undergrad theatre major at UMass Amherst, focusing in performance and design.  Recently, he finished a college internship with TYT for which he recieved a scholarship from the UMass Theatre department.  Troy has been working for TYT for 5 years, where he has been an assitant director, stage manager, dance captain, counselor, set designer, costume designer and administrative assistant.
